About MeI feel so fortunate to have years of experience working in a field that I absolutely love. I began my journey in a place perhaps not too dissimilar from yourself. I was struggling deeply and did not know where to turn. I tried many different avenues, along the way asking myself "How does one truly heal?" So much of my journey informs the way that I show up in the world and work with my clients today. Slowly but surely, I found my way to wholeness and health.
This catalyzed the beginning of my path to become the person and psychotherapist that I am today. Channeling years of developed wisdom and embodied experience, I can be a spacious, loving, and strong container for whatever is happening within you. I bring a deep well of compassion and insight. I continue to cultivate my own health and healing on a daily basis. In addition to my own lived experience, I bring the knowledge that I developed from extensive education and training. I received my Master's degree in Mindfulness-based Transpersonal Counseling at Naropa University. Since then, I have continued to expand professionally through trainings and certifications in Hakomi Psychotherapy, a mindfulness-based and body-centered psychotherapy, and EMDR, a trauma resolution therapy. In addition to psychotherapy, I have trained in many other healing modalities. I have studied and practiced mindfulness meditation and yoga for 15 years and have completed 1200 hours in meditation and yoga teacher training. I have studied evolutionary astrology for over 6 years and am trained in Reiki Level 1. These modalities have taught me so much about myself and different avenues of healing. I value considering different perspectives and approach the healing process from many different angles to help people achieve true, whole health. My practice is primarily at Pachamama Farm & Wellness, which is just outside of Boulder proper. Surrounded by stunning views of the foothills, the beautiful farm land contains fields of organically grown fruit and vegetables, happily roaming farm animals, a medicinal herb garden, and a holistic wellness center called Pachamama Wellness, which also includes Five Element acupuncture from Allie Dodge Acupuncture. I have intentionally chosen to have my office in this beautiful, natural setting. There is a tremendous amount of research about the relaxing and healing power of nature. It has been a critical part of my own wellness. We are connected to and nourished by this beautiful planet. In addition, I am a part of the Boulder Wellness Ketamine Collective and am passionate about the profound healing power that psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy has to offer. I am grateful to have had all the experiences throughout my life to lead me here. I am constantly in awe of the strength, beauty, and wisdom that resides within the human spirit. I am honored to be able to be a witness of that every day, in every client. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, wandering in the wilderness, engaging in mindfulness-based practices, cooking, and gardening. |
Education and TrainingI love learning! To continue to grow and develop as a practitioner, I engage in regular and consistent continued education.
